I have lived and worked in Wiltshire for eight years painting the landscape and flowers.
I am going to live in Dumfriesshire, Scotland where I will have more opportunity to paint the landscape.
My aim is to capture the atmosphere of a place so sometimes I paint it long after I have seen it.
I very much admire the Scottish Colourists and am influenced by their work. Last year I sold three paintings of Iona, and I did a commission of Horace's Villa near Rome which was bought by a Professor of Fine Art at a university in America.
I also do printing, etching and linocuts of flowers and landscape.
